In the NY state legislature, an Interstate Massage Compact bill was introduced as Assembly Bill 4444 (AB 4444) and Senate Bill 3931 (SB 3931). If the Interstate Massage Compact bill were to become law, it would allow an out-of-state massage therapist from a participating Compact state be allowed to practice massage therapy in New York. Is this good for the New York State Massage Therapy industry?
Join NYSSMMT and the NYS Council of Massage Therapy Educators as we look at the Interstate Massage Compact Bill through the lens of the New York State Massage Education Law and other industry factors to decide what is in the best interest for greater New York State Massage Therapy industry.
You must be a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist currently registered or a NY Massage school educator to attend this info session meeting.
